The Fort Wayne Children's Zoo

We we took a trip to the Fort Wayne Zoo this weekend, with Grandma and Grandpa Chandler.  It actually had animals you could see, unlike The Detroit Zoo.  I am pretty sure every time we went to The Detroit Zoo, that Brady just thought it was a park with big fences.  Brady had a great time touching, feeding and actually getting to see the animals up close.

They had a Farm Petting Zoo.  Brady got to run around and play with the Goats.  This was his favorite part of the Zoo.  We even stopped by on the way out, so he could play with them again.

The alligators.  Brady even said alligator for a Grandma a few times.

A really big turtle.

Driving a Land Rover.

Walking with Dad and Grandma.

Checking out the hyena.

He wasn't that impressed by the lion.

Bike rides are tiring

Ryan took Brady for a bike ride and he decided to take off his helmet and take a nap.

Asleep during the ride.

He stayed asleep even after the ride was done.

Brady does like to wear the helmet in the car.

Boat Rides

Brady loves riding Grandpa's Boat.  He kept putting life jackets on all weekend, in hopes that he would get to the boat.     Here are a few pictures of Brady's boat rides.

Who stole the cookies from the cookie jar?

Brady, thats who!  Ok I guess I should of written package, instead of cookie jar.  We spent the past week at the cottage and Brady throughly enjoyed the lack of child proofing.  He disappear into the kitchen for a few seconds and came back with this.

This was not the only treasures he found in the kitchen this past weekend.  He also had a lot of fun, pulling out all of the returnable soda bottles.

Coloring

I am excited to announce we are finally past the eating crayon stage.  Brady really enjoys making marks on paper, he has also discovered that he can doodle on more than just paper.  He started to color on the walls at a restaurant last night.  Here are few pictures of one of Brady's most recent art projects.

The past week and half

Sorry there hasn't been much to write about.  I had surgery last week to removed a piece of glass from my foot.  Yes I am probably the only person in the world who gets glass stuck that far up in thier foot.  So I have spent the past week hobbling around and trying to recover.  My foot basically looks like the doctor took a melon baller to my heal.

Last weekend my mom and step dad did come up to hang out with us and entertain Brady.  We had a family wedding on Saturday and went to a park on Sunday.

Here are a few pictures from the weekend:

Also this weekend I figured out why all of the pictures from my point and shoot look so grainy.  The ISO was way to high.  It was kinda nice to use some of my DSLR knowledge to fix my PAS.
